Namely,\u00a0pyromaniacs will\u00a0need to be aware that\u00a0fireworks are actually banned\u00a0from a certain time at night in the UK, meaning you can\u2019t be setting off whizz bangs and Catherine wheels willy nilly throughout the night.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Giving a little bit of leeway for celebrations, the\u00a0fireworks\u00a0laws for November 5 are slightly different from the rest of the year.\u00a0Here\u2019s everything you need to know if you want to stage a legal firework display this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n

What time are fireworks banned on Bonfire Night?<\/p>\n

On Guy Fawkes night it is illegal to set off fireworks between midnight and 7pm.\u00a0<\/p>\n

What are the normal rules for fireworks in the UK? (non-Bonfire Night)<\/p>\n

For the rest of the year, fireworks are illegal in Britain after 11pm. That means that on November 5 Brits will have an extra hour to enjoy festive explosives.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The best Bonfire Night displays in\u00a0London<\/p>\n

London certainly isn\u2019t short on spectacular Guy Fawkes displays \u2013 here are some of Time Out\u2019s favourites.<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0Alexandra Palace Fireworks and Drone Festival<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

One of London\u2019s\u00a0biggest, baddest displays is, this year, also one of the spookiest. Ally Pally\u2019s 2025 show takes place on Halloween weekend (Oct 31-Nov 1).<\/p>\n

2. Blackheath Fireworks<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

This year Blackheath\u2019s beloved display is back for the first time since 2019. Lewisham Council has teamed up with Slammin Events (the company behind Ally Pally’s display) for the event\u2019s grand return on November 1.<\/p>\n

3. Dulwich Fireworks Display<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re lucky enough to already have a ticket for this display at Dulwich Sports Club (which sells out pretty much every year), expect a huge display as well as live music and a vast array of food and drink options.<\/p>\n
