Danny Rohl has begun to turn results around in his short time at Rangers boss after he arrived to replace Russell Martin earlier this month.<\/strong><\/p>\n Rangers beat Hibernian 1-0<\/a> last time out, with Rohl<\/a> enjoying a strong start, and they are now making plans for the January transfer window to further bolster his plans.<\/p>\n As a result, the boss has been heavily linked with recruiting from his former club Sheffield Wednesday.<\/p>\n Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown first told Football Insider<\/strong> in April that\u00a0Rohl would quit Sheffield Wednesday<\/a>\u00a0due to concerns about Dejphon Chansiri<\/a>\u2019s ownership.<\/p>\n Wednesday went into administration on 24 October, officially ending Chansiri\u2019s ownership, but putting the club into another difficult financial situation.<\/p>\n Multiple billionaires are interested in buying Sheffield Wednesday<\/a>, in what is seen as positive news for the club, with the process to find new ownership underway.<\/p>\n As is often the case with clubs placed into administration, the vultures begin to circle with offers for their best and most promising players in mind.<\/p>\n MORE FOOTBALL INSIDER STORIES<\/p>\n However, as I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider\u2019s Inside Track podcast<\/a><\/strong>, Rangers are unlikely to make moves for any of Sheffield Wednesday\u2019s squad despite the links with Rohl, and instead are focused on utilising their current options.<\/p>\n This comes as the likes of Josh Windass<\/a>, Akin Famewo and Callum Patterson left on free transfers under Chansiri\u2019s ownership, while Rangers poached Djeidi Gassama<\/a>.<\/p>\n Speaking on the Inside Track podcast<\/strong>, I explained: \u201cYeah, that\u2019s an opportunity for a lot of clubs if they want to sign any players from Sheffield Wednesday with the ongoing financial issues. <\/p>\n \u201cThe other thing is when you look at the Sheffield Wednesday squad, it\u2019s very threadbare as well.
