A partnership between Stockbridge bakers, Lannan, and charity LifeCare has raised almost \u00a33,000 for the charity\u2019s lifeline services.<\/p>\n

The afternoon tea was a sell-out, held at the charity\u2019s caf\u00e9 in Stockbridge and featuring the exquisite Lannan pastries and cakes. There was live piano music all serving to raise much needed funds for the charity. Now as Christmas approaches Lannan will donate their traditional trifles for LifeCare\u2019s Community Christmas Lunches \u2013 and there are already two Afternoon Teas planned for 2026. <\/p>\n

Darcie Maher of Lannan, said: \u201cIt\u2019s been such a pleasure to partner with LifeCare. This was our first event of its kind, and we couldn\u2019t have chosen a better partner. We\u2019ve had the privilege of seeing and hearing about the incredible work they do firsthand, and we\u2019re so pleased to have been able to contribute. We look forward to building on this success and continuing to make a difference, one slice at a time!\u201d<\/p>\n

Claire Montgomery, LifeCare\u2019s Fundraising Manager, added: \u201cWe\u2019re over the moon with the success of this first Sweet Partnership Afternoon Tea with Lannan. The generosity of everyone involved \u2013 from our guests and volunteers to the wonderful team at Lannan \u2013 has helped raise essential funds and awareness for our work. We can\u2019t wait to welcome everyone back next year for not one, but two, tasty events \u2013 and book now for those Christmas trifles!\u201d<\/p>\n
