Britain\u2019s Got Talent<\/a> hosts Ant McPartlin<\/a> and Declan Donnelly<\/a> were left fighting for their lives when the first live show was thrown into pure chaos.<\/p>\n Tonight, not one but two acts were forced to delay their performances due to \u2018not being ready\u2019, meaning Ant and Dec had to think on their feet.<\/p>\n The first was schoolboy magician Teddy Magic, who was due to be the second act on stage.<\/p>\n Before his performance, however, a schedule shake-up was announced, with Scottish singer Vinnie McKee<\/a> taking his place in the lineup.<\/p>\n Ahead of opening the public vote, Dec later confirmed Teddy had pulled out of the semi-final, telling viewers: \u2018Unfortunately, Teddy won\u2019t be performing tonight but we hope to see him later in the series.\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t\t\tGet personalised updates on Britain’s Got Talent\t\t\t<\/p>\n Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro\u2019s TV Newsletter.<\/p>\n Sign up to our newsletter<\/a> and then select your show in the link we\u2019ll send you so we can get TV news tailored to you.<\/p>\n It remains to be seen whether he will get the chance to share his magic again during another show.<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t Adding to the carnage, dance troupe The Blackouts also suffered a technical difficulty.<\/p>\n This meant Ant and Dec had to throw to the judges<\/a> for another chat before the group, who perform with LED lights strapped to them to create incredible imagery, could begin their routine.<\/p>\n \u2018You\u2019re not going to believe this, but they\u2019re not quite ready,\u2019 Dec laughed.<\/p>\n Thankfully, The Blackouts were able to perform their full number and earned a wild reaction from the live audience, as well as Amanda Holden\u2019s live Golden Buzzer, sending them straight through to the final in six weeks.<\/p>\n Taking to X amid all the chaos, BGT viewers were keen to speculate about what was going down behind the scenes.<\/p>\n On eight-year-old Teddy\u2019s absence, viewers repeatedly expressed their worry, with @AmyTeamLH writing halfway through the show when he was still absent: \u2018I\u2019m getting rather concerned now\u2026\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t \u2018Teddy is 8 years old and has probably got upset and maybe doesn\u2019t want to go on, that\u2019s put the whole show out now!\u2019, wrote @CarryOnDaniel.<\/p>\n @michellepryde also noticed that Amanda referred to musician Vinnie as \u2018Teddy\u2019 after his \u2018amazing\u2019 performance of Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol.<\/p>\n \u2018What a shambles.
