Manchester United are looking to win four games in a row for the first time since February 2024 when they travel to Nottingham Forest this afternoon.<\/p>\n

The Reds<\/a> head into the game sixth in the table. Forest<\/a> are in the relegation places and come into this game following a 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth last week.<\/p>\n

Ruben Amorim<\/a> confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Lisandro Martinez is the only player certain to miss the game. However, he is back in training after an ACL injury. Harry Maguire remains a doubt having missed the clash with Brighton.<\/p>\n

Here’s how our United<\/a> writers think United should line up against Forest:<\/p>\n

Steven Railston<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is no need to change the starting line-up after last weekend’s win against Brighton. Amorim should make no changes and continue with the players who were responsible for that 4-2 victory at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

Casemiro<\/a> has become an important player again and should start alongside Bruno Fernandes<\/a> in the centre of midfield. Amad is developing an excellent understanding with Bryan Mbeumo down the right.<\/p>\n

Benjamin Sesko<\/a> came close to scoring against Brighton and should have chances to find the net against a struggling Forest side.<\/p>\n

Jack Flintham<\/strong><\/p>\n

Amorim said before the Liverpool game that he did not pick Sesko as Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate enjoy the aerial battle. Forest’s centre-back pairing of Murillo and Nikola Milenkovic will be very similar so there’s no harm in adopting the striker-less tactic again.<\/p>\n

Mount is fit again and while Sesko did well at home to Brighton, he is the obvious player to drop out.<\/p>\n

Doubts surrounding Maguire’s fitness mean Leny Yoro<\/a> should be guaranteed a start again this weekend. A nervy moment up against Yankuba Minteh aside, he had a good game against Brighton so deserves to keep his place.<\/p>\n
