Elliot Anderson\u2019s maiden England call-up is right around the corner, according to Nottingham Forest<\/a> team-mate Harry Toffolo.<\/p>\n Midfielder Anderson, 22, has been a key cog in Nuno Espirito Santo\u2019s slick machine as Forest eye FA Cup<\/a> glory and a top-five finish to bring Champions League<\/a> football to the City Ground.<\/p>\n The former Newcastle<\/a> player has represented both England and Scotland<\/a> at Under-21 level. He’s not just brought quality on the pitch, he’s brought personality off the pitch. A lot of the time in a first-team dressing room you need a big personality and he’s brought that.<\/p>\n \u201cHe’s become a leader in such a short space of time. He’s not really a big talker but he leads through example with how he plays on the pitch.\u201d<\/p>\n Anderson scored his second goal of the season in last Monday’s win against Tottenham<\/a> Hotspur in north London to move Forest back into the Champions League spots. He has also contributed six league assists.<\/p>\n Forest, who beat Brighton<\/a> in the previous round after a penalty shootout, may be the underdogs against Manchester City<\/a> this afternoon. But having defeated them at home in the league last month, Toffolo insists Nuno\u2019s men will not be daunted at Wembley.<\/p>\n \u201cAlready we\u2019ve achieved so much as a group but we want more. That\u2019s just the way we are as people. We’re excited, we’re really looking forward to it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cWe’re not nervous. We’ll take it to City, the manager will come with a game plan that we’ll execute well. They won’t want to play us either.
