Discussions centered on Beijing\u2019s rare earth export policies,
\nwith China agreeing to suspend the planned expansion of export
\ncontrols for one year.<\/p>\n

\u201cChina confirmed that the suspension of the October export
\ncontrols applies to the EU,\u201d Sefcovic said on X, noting that both
\nsides pledged to continue dialogue on improving policy
\nimplementation.<\/p>\n

The move comes as part of broader efforts to ease trade tensions
\nand secure stable access to critical raw materials essential for
