(Reuters: Kyaw Soe Oo)<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">The ad aired during the first two baseball World Series games.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">In response to the ad last week, Mr Trump suspended trade talks with Canada and said he would <a class=\"Link_link__kR0xA Link_link__5eL5m ScreenReaderOnly_srLinkHint__OysWz Link_showVisited__C1Fea Link_showFocus__ALyv2\" href=\"https:\/\/www.abc.net.au\/news\/2025-10-26\/trump-punishes-canada-with-10pc-tariff-increase-over-tv-ad\/105935220\" data-component=\"Link\" data-uri=\"coremedia:\/\/article\/105935220\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">impose an additional 10 per cent tariff<\/a> on Canadian imports.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">He also accused Canada of using the ad to influence the US Supreme Court ahead of arguments scheduled this month that could decide whether Mr Trump has the power to impose his sweeping tariffs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">&#8220;TARIFFS ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO THE NATIONAL SECURITY, AND ECONOMY, OF THE U.S.A.
