Others recalled people sprinting through the train to escape as the attacker moved through carriages.Also read: Multiple people stabbed on London-bound train; what we know so far<\/a>Wren Chambers, who was also on board, told the BBC they ran to the front of the train after seeing a man bolt past with a bloody arm, shouting \u201cthey\u2019ve got a knife, run.\u201d \u201cWe were pretty scared once we knew what was happening,\u201d Chambers said. \u201cWe were able to get off the train unharmed.\u201dWhen the train came to an emergency stop in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, armed officers stormed the station. Another described the horror as \u201clike something from a film \u2014 really violent.\u201dBritish Transport Police confirmed ten people were taken to hospital, nine with \u201clife-threatening injuries.\u201d Counter-terrorism officers are assisting with the investigation, though the motive remains unclear. The national \u201cPlato\u201d emergency response protocol used for potential terror attacks was activated.Prime Minister Keir Starmer called the incident \u201cappalling\u201d and \u201cdeeply concerning,\u201d praising emergency services for their swift action. \u201cMy thoughts are with all those affected,\u201d he said.Police arrested two suspects at the scene and continue to examine the train, which remains cordoned off as a major crime scene.
