With 2025 nearing completion and with us knowing how active next year will be in terms of cinema, we figured now is the best time to write this article regarding all of the upcoming releases.

2026 contains a lot of films which many are anticipating, from indie performance-driven movies like The Drama to massive blockbusters like The Odyssey and speaking of the latter, there are also a lot of directors making their return such as Christopher Nolan, Denis Villeneuve, Steven Spielberg, Greta Gerwig and more, with big stars returning as well on the big screen such as Tom Cruise, Timothée Chalamet, Anne Hathaway, Ryan Gosling, and more.

But to get all of this out of the way, while listing every single film dated to release in the future, it should be known that release dates are always switching all of the time, and this article will be covering all of the release dates as of the time of publication. It’s also significant to note that this article will also be covering release dates for upcoming 2027 & 2028 releases as well as future films with no release date and when we think they’ll end up releasing, the finest recent example of this is Bong Joon-ho’s upcoming animated feature about sea creatures, which we think could end up as a late 2026 release.

28 Years Later: The Bone Temple / Image Courtesy of Sony Pictures

Check out the full list of all upcoming film release dates below:

2026 Release DatesJanuary

We Bury The Dead – January 2nd

People We Meet on Vacation – January 9th

Greenland 2: Migration – January 9th

Dead Man’s Wire – January 9th

Sleepwalker – January 9th

SOULM8TE – January 9th

Primate – January 9th

OBEX – January 9th

The Rip – January 16th

Night Patrol – January 16th

28 Years Later: The Bone Temple – January 16th

Return to Silent Hill – January 23rd

Mercy – January 23rd

Shelter – January 30th

Send Help – January 30th

Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die – January 30th

February

Cold Storage – February 6th

Solo Mio – February 6th

Goat – February 13th

Crime 101 – February 13th

Wuthering Heights – February 13th

Psycho Killer – February 20th

Scream – February 27th

March

Hoppers – March 6th

The Bride! – March 6th

The Breadwinner – March 13th

Reminders of Him – March 13th

The Pout-Pout Fish – March 20th

Project Hail Mary – March 20th

The Dog Stars – March 27th

They Will Kill You – March 27th

The Magic Faraway Tree – March 27th

April

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie – April 3rd

The Drama – April 3rd

Italianna – March 10th

Ready or Not 2: Here I Come – April 10th

4 Kids Walk Into a Bank – April 17th

The Mummy – April 17th

Normal – April 17th

Michael – April 24th

Wuthering Heights / Image Courtesy of Warner Bros.
