{"id":544547,"date":"2025-11-02T16:58:26","date_gmt":"2025-11-02T16:58:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/544547\/"},"modified":"2025-11-02T16:58:26","modified_gmt":"2025-11-02T16:58:26","slug":"man-sentenced-for-affray-during-bristol-disorder","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/544547\/","title":{"rendered":"Man sentenced for affray during Bristol disorder"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A man has been sentenced for affray committed during a violent disorder in Bristol city centre.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Jacob Dolphin, 24, of Weston-super-Mare, admitted the offence and was given an 18-month community order and a fine at Bristol Crown Court on 23 October.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">He was seen kicking out at officers on five occasions and threw an object outside Bridewell Police Station <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/articles\/c1dmm9dndkno?xtor=AL-72-%5Bpartner%5D-%5Byahoo.north.america%5D-%5Blink%5D-%5Bnews%5D-%5Bbizdev%5D-%5Bisapi%5D\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:during the incident on 3 August 2024.;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">during the incident on 3 August 2024.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Judge Peter Blair described the violence during the riot as some of the worst seen in the city&#8217;s history.
