The money is there for him.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Caught Offside journalist Mark Brus didn\u2019t confirm the \u00a3100m figure but did claim that \u2018the money is there for more significant signings in 2026\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/thedailybriefing.io\/p\/arsenal-transfer-budget-january\" target=\"_blank\">Brus wrote<\/a>:\u00a0\u2018For now, it would not really be accurate to talk about a set \u2018budget\u2019 being made available to Mikel Arteta. I know a figure of \u00a3100m has been doing the rounds, but my understanding is that it rarely works like that.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Sources in the industry are all saying the same thing, though, and that\u2019s that Arsenal\u2019s financial situation is good. They\u2019re confident the money is there for more significant signings in 2026.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>A source told Brus: \u201cI\u2019d expect money to be there for Arteta this January if he wants to spend, but at the moment everyone is pretty happy with what the changes over the summer have brought to the squad,\u201d one source told me.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cArsenal feel they have a team that can challenge in all competitions \u2013 they\u2019ve brought in quality and depth.
