One of London\u2019s biggest charitable initiatives is returning this November<\/a> \u2013 reminding us that the season of giving is also about giving back. WrapUp London\u2019s enormous coat drive<\/strong> is \u201cone of the largest winter volunteering events in the city\u201d, and it\u2019s back for its 15th year of helping those in need.<\/p>\n

So, what exactly is WrapUp London? It\u2019s simple. They collect warm winter coats through collection points scattered around the city and distribute them to those in need<\/strong>. They\u2019re making sure everyone has a coat to wrap up in as the temperatures drop this winter.<\/p>\n

WrapUp London started all the way back in 2011, and they\u2019ve grown by leaps and bounds every year. Since 2011, they\u2019ve been able to collect and give out almost a quarter of a million coats to those in need<\/strong>. To be exact, they\u2019ve collected 244,139 warm coats since 2011. Last year alone, they were able to collect over 15,000 pre-loved coats to go to new homes.<\/p>\n

This year, they\u2019re hoping to \u201ccollect, transport, sort and distribute up to 20,000 warm coats\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

WrapUp London really could not make it easier for you to donate your coat if they tried. There is a wealth of drop-off points scattered all around the city, with collections starting this week and running from November 3 to December 7.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are over 85 drop-off points in London. Visit their website to find your nearest collection point<\/a>.<\/strong> There are options to filter by what area of London you live in, making it easy to find one near you.<\/p>\n

But that\u2019s not all. WrapUp London is also bringing back their tube station drop-off points. From November 4 to 6, commuters can drop off coats at the following stations: <\/strong><\/p>\n
