Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> fans were left “heartbroken” for Ellie Goldstein as Vito Coppola shared an emotional message after their exit.<\/p>\n

This year’s couples took to the dance floor on Saturday night (November 1) with an array of spooky routines for Halloween week<\/a>.<\/p>\n

At the end of the night, former Emmerdale actor Lewis Cope<\/a> and Katya Jones found themselves at the top of the leaderboard after scoring 40 points for their Couples Choice to Creep by Radiohead.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Gladiator star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and Karen Hauer were at the bottom of the rankings after performing an American Smooth to Mystical Magical by Benson Boone.<\/p>\n

On Sunday (November 2), host Tess Daly confirmed that Vogue cover star Ellie Goldstein and her professional partner Vito Coppola would be in the dreaded dance-off against EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon.<\/p>\n

After seeing their routines again, the judges unanimously voted to save Balvinder and Julian, meaning that Ellie and Vito were the fifth couple to be eliminated from the competition.<\/p>\n

Speaking after her elimination, Ellie reflected on her journey with Vito, saying: “I’ve enjoyed it so much! He is a kind person and all I wanted from day one. You have been so heartwarming, thank you to you [Vito].”<\/p>\n

Vito then turned to his partner, gushing: “Honestly, there are no words I can use to describe how proud I am of you and you did really change my life so much. You made me such a better person.<\/p>\n

“At the beginning of this year, I said to myself, ‘Please, please, please can you send me a beautiful angel into my life? And you arrived.<\/p>\n

“I’ve never had a little sister but I always wanted one. Now, I have you and you’re my little sister forever, and your big brother is always by your side.”<\/p>\n

Vito then concluded by saying to Ellie that they will continue to dance together away from the BBC<\/a> show.<\/p>\n

Strictly fans were left in tears after hearing Vito’s sweet words to Ellie, with many sharing their emotions on social media.<\/p>\n

“Anyone else heartbroken for Ellie? My god Vito. That was beautiful,” one person wrote on X.<\/p>\n

Another added: “We’re all crying aren’t we. Vito, you are so special,” while a third said: “Omg stop I am crying at Vito’s speech. They are so cute like brother and sisters love them both.”<\/p>\n

A fourth fan echoed the sentiment, saying: “Heartbreaking. I can’t cope with Vito’s speech,” with another similarly sharing: “Vito has melted my heart this evening. Such kindness and a beautiful soul who treated Ellie with such respect and love. What a special man.”<\/p>\n
