The note revealed the sometimes harsh reality of such a public-facing job like bus driving.<\/p>\n
“It has been a very long time since I have been spoken to with dignity, eloquence and respect in the same sentence. Thank you!” reads the note from the bus driver.<\/p>\n
The passenger says they hope this moving exchange will encourage others to show their gratitude.<\/p>\n

They told the Manchester Evening News: “I hope this message can encourage all of us to promote mutual respect towards others, regardless of their role or position.”<\/p>\n
Transport for Greater Manchester made a statement about the gesture that had a big impact, saying that these small acts of kindness can ‘make a big difference, especially for drivers who do a difficult job day in, day out’.<\/p>\n
Fran Wilkinson, TfGM\u2019s Customer and Growth Director, said: \u201cOver the last few years we have been working tirelessly to improve the experience both for passengers and staff on the Bee Network, and making it an inclusive and welcoming way to get around.<\/p>\n
