(Reuters\/State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odesa Region)<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">Ukraine&#8217;s Energy Ministry said on Sunday that the partially occupied Donetsk region was without electricity, as well as parts of the Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">The strikes are the latest in Russia&#8217;s attacks on Ukraine&#8217;s energy infrastructure as winter approaches.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">Ukrainian cities use centralised public infrastructure to run water, sewerage and heating systems, and blackouts stop them from working.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">Attacks aim to erode Ukrainian morale as well as disrupt weapons manufacturing and other war-related activity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">Analysts and officials say Moscow has shifted tactics this year, targeting specific regions and gas infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">And its attacks have grown more effective, with Russia launching hundreds of drones at a time, some equipped with cameras that improve targeting, overwhelming air defences.<\/p>\n<p>Ukraine causes fire at major Russian oil port<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">In Russia, a Ukrainian drone strike set an oil tanker and infrastructure ablaze at Tuapse port, regional officials said on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">Images on social media appeared to show flames engulfing terminal structures and a tanker at the Black Sea port, with multiple blazes visible across the port area. (Reuters: Tatiana Meel)<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">The official said five drone strikes were recorded and the operation was carried out by special forces of Ukraine&#8217;s Security Service and other defence forces.
