Benjamin Sesko struggled to make an impact for Manchester United as they drew with Nottingham Forest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Manchester United drew 2-2 with Nottingham Forest<\/a> at the City Ground on Saturday, ending the three-match winning streak built by Ruben Amorim\u2019s side.<\/p>\n

Casemiro and Amad Diallo scored<\/a> either side of Forest\u2019s quickfire double, meaning the points were shared.<\/p>\n

For the first time in his United career, Amorim named an unchanged XI in the Premier League, meaning Benjamin Sesko<\/a> started up front alongside Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha.<\/p>\n

United fans weren\u2019t impressed by Sesko<\/a> as the Slovenian struggled up against the physical duo of Murillo and Nikola Milenkovic. Watching from afar, Gary Neville<\/a> was equally unimpressed.<\/p>\n

Last week, Gary Neville unfairly criticised Sesko<\/a> against Brighton when he was heavily involved in much of the attacking play.<\/p>\n

Against Forest, Sesko had no such defence. He was isolated and uninvolved. Even when found in dangerous areas, he wasn\u2019t able to convert it into a goalscoring opportunity.<\/p>\n

Speaking on NBC Sports<\/a> after the full-time whistle, Neville was asked about Sesko\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m no further forward with him in terms of the jury is out. I think he\u2019s well off it compared to the other signings that United have made up front in Cunha and Mbeumo,\u201d Neville said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe looks awkward. He had a couple of really good opportunities in the first half when balls got played over and his touch wasn\u2019t right.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor \u00a380 million, you can say he is young and has a lot of potential. He is only settling in, but you still want to see a bit more.\u201d<\/p>\n

Benjamin Sesko can bounce back vs Tottenham<\/p>\n

Neville is not the only United legend with his concerns, as Paul Scholes questioned Sesko\u2019s signing<\/a> last month.<\/p>\n

Sesko was unfairly dubbed the worst signing<\/a> of the window, and he has been fighting an uphill battle since his summer move.<\/p>\n

Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha had the advantage of being experienced in the Premier League, and at 26 years old, they are in their prime.<\/p>\n

As for Sesko, he arrived as a young prospect who has had to quickly adapt to new surroundings and a new division. Two goals and one assist in less than 600 minutes of Premier League football is not a bad outcome on paper.<\/p>\n

Against Tottenham, Sesko should have more space to operate in the final third.
