Kelly Rail are looking for committed and dedicated Project Engineers to join our Project teams based out of Glasgow & Coventry.<\/p>\n

In your role you will be required to:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Implement Network Rail systems and procedures to maintain a cost effective, high quality, safe and environmentally responsible approach to design, construction, commissioning, and other technical activities on relevant projects, compliant with all relevant legislation. Liaise with regulators and others as appropriate.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Engineer Projects to the standards and specification of Network Rail,
compliant with appropriate Railway Group and Network Rail Company standards, formal specifications, and procedures.
\u2022 Maintain the use of relevant techniques and procedures of quantified and qualitative risk assessment and HAZOP analysis to allocated projects and manage the environmental aspects of allocated projects in accordance with Network Rail\u2019s environmental policy.
\u2022 Provide project management advice in respect of all construction activities, including site supervision.
\u2022 Undertake reviews of design and\/or construction activities in conjunction with the client.
\u2022 Arrange audit of on-site Quality Inspections
\u2022 Manage and deliver all aspects of Inspection & Test plan<\/p>\n

Essential Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Successful candidate must have experience in lineside civils & Telecom installations.
\u2022 Must have at least 5 years\u2019 experience in Rail & at least 3 years\u2019 experience as a Project Engineer
\u2022 Technical qualifications to HNC\/HND or equivalent GNVQ level.
\u2022 Knowledge of health, safety, environmental & quality assurance, and regulations.
\u2022 An understanding of the arrangements required for the independent assessment of work.
\u2022 Risk assessment & engineering management competency.
\u2022 Punctual & Team player
\u2022 Positive, proactive, and flexible approach
\u2022 Self-organised with the ability to prioritise tasks
\u2022 Good task and time management skills
\u2022 Honesty and integrity
\u2022 Ability to work confidentially
\u2022 Ability to work under pressure
\u2022 Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
\u2022 Excellent oral and written communication<\/p>\n

Desirable Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Membership of a relevant professional body with chartered status and\/or educated to degree level.
\u2022 An appreciation of environmental issues in engineering works.
\u2022 Project Safety management experience<\/p>\n
