Marcus Rashford has impressed during his loan spell at Barcelona and added to his goal tally over the weekend<\/p>\n

Barcelona fans have shown their support for Marcus Rashford<\/a> after the Manchester United<\/a> loanee’s latest impressive performance.<\/p>\n

Rashford was loaned out by United to Barcelona during the summer transfer window after the forward expressed a desire to leave Old Trafford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The England international spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa and was heavily linked with a permanent move away from United before completing a loan move to Barca.<\/p>\n

Since moving to Spain, Rashford has scored six goals and provided seven assists for his teammates. The United loanee added to his goal tally over the weekend<\/a> as Barcelona claimed a 3-1 victory over Elche in La Liga.<\/p>\n

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick opted to replace Rashford in the 74th minute, with Robert Lewandowski brought on as his replacement.<\/p>\n

As Rashford left the pitch, the United loanee was given a round of applause by the home fans at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.<\/p>\n

It was after his goalscoring performance against Elche that Rashford spoke about the “demands” that he puts on himself and the rest of the Barcelona team.<\/p>\n

\u201cI try to give my best. I could have done better against Elche, and I promise to improve because I’m not entirely happy with my performance overall,” said Rashford in an interview with Mundo Deportivo.<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cWe work hard to win. We’re taking it one game at a time. We need to keep playing as a team. This is Barca, and the demands must always be at their highest.”<\/p>\n
