{"id":547304,"date":"2025-11-04T00:15:15","date_gmt":"2025-11-04T00:15:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/547304\/"},"modified":"2025-11-04T00:15:15","modified_gmt":"2025-11-04T00:15:15","slug":"lfc-recognised-on-and-off-the-pitch-at-2025-northwest-football-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/547304\/","title":{"rendered":"LFC recognised on and off the pitch at 2025 Northwest Football Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/foundation.liverpoolfc.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>LFC Foundation<\/strong><\/a> itself earned the Premier League Community Club of the Season accolade.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past season, the Reds&#8217; official charity successfully delivered 64 community projects and more than 11,000 sessions, supporting 145,000 people and generating \u00a380.3 million in social value for the Liverpool City Region.<\/p>\n<p>The Foundation&#8217;s impact has also extended globally, with programmes spanning five countries and engaging nearly 20,000 international participants.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Kelly, the lead\/U21 physiotherapist at the LFC Academy, was presented with the Fabrice Muamba Award for Outstanding Services to Football Medicine and Performance.<\/p>\n<p>Kelly has been with the Reds since 2016, after previous roles elsewhere in the north west with Blackpool, Blackburn Rovers and Manchester City.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s ceremony also carried special significance as the Women&#8217;s Manager of the Season Award was renamed in memory of Matt Beard, honouring his extraordinary contribution to women&#8217;s football and his lasting legacy at Liverpool.<\/p>\n<p>Matt&#8217;s brother, Mark, presented the award to Marc Skinner of Manchester United.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"LFC Foundation itself earned the Premier League Community Club of the Season accolade.
