{"id":547382,"date":"2025-11-04T01:05:17","date_gmt":"2025-11-04T01:05:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/547382\/"},"modified":"2025-11-04T01:05:17","modified_gmt":"2025-11-04T01:05:17","slug":"bradford-bulls-hand-youngsters-new-deals-for-super-league","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/547382\/","title":{"rendered":"Bradford Bulls hand youngsters new deals for Super League"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  Both Leake and Bate are young forwards who have come through the Bulls\u2019 Elite Academy system, impressing to earn their first professional deals earlier this year.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The duo join fellow ex-Elite Academy graduate Jamie Gill in committing their futures to the club, with Kurt Haggerty\u2019s side back in Super League for the 2026 season.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Bate said: \u201cIt\u2019s a dream come true.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cConsidering where I was last year, Bradford have been brilliant with me, really helped me through and got me to where I need, where I can now get full-time experience.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cThe coaches here and the lads who are coming into the team will help my development.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cThey\u2019re going to push me and push each other so my game, both mentality and physically, will be developed.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cI am looking forward to pre-season, trying to get in Kurt\u2019s eyesight and on his radar and do my best to knock on the door for next season.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  He added: \u201cIt was good to get a taste in the first team towards the back end of the year.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cIt can be uncomfortable coming out of your comfort zone when you first start but now I am fully settled in and looking forward to the season coming up.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Leake said: \u201cIt feels good to be here heading into Super League and I am very appreciative of the club for keeping me on.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cI spoke to Kurt when he rang me to congratulate me on my new deal and I just said thank you for keeping me on.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cIt is a dream come true to play in Super League and be a big part of history with Bradford being back in the top flight.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\"\/>Alfie Leake scores for Bulls against Keighley Cougars in a friendly last December.
