<\/a>Warner Bros. Pictures<\/p>\nBeloved actor Benicio del Toro, coming off his acclaimed turn in \u201cOne Battle After Another,\u201d is reportedly in negotiations to join the cast of the \u201cOcean\u2019s Eleven\u201d prequel at Warner Bros. Pictures and LuckyChap Entertainment.<\/p>\n
Earlier this month, the news came that Bradley Cooper had joined the cast and was set to star opposite Margot Robbie in the film. He is taking over the role that Ryan Gosling was originally slated to play.<\/p>\n
Plot and character specifics are under wraps, though the film is rumoured to be titled simply \u201cOceans\u201d with Cooper and Robbie playing the parents of George Clooney\u2019s Danny Ocean and Sandra Bullock\u2019s Debbie Ocean characters.<\/p>\n
Set against the backdrop of the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix, the film is said to have a \u201cTo Catch a Thief\u201d vibe. Carrie Solomon (\u201cA Family Affair\u201d) penned the script.<\/p>\n
del Toro is reportedly being eyed for a potential villain role in the project, which looks set to cast up quickly in the coming months ahead of an early 2026 shoot.<\/p>\n
Lee Isaac Chung (\u201cTwisters\u201d) is directing the project, while Linus Sandgren (\u201cLa La Land\u201d) will serve as cinematographer. <\/p>\n
