The popular eatery, with locations on Leith Walk and Easter Road, has clearly captured more than just local hearts with its signature breakfast dish.<\/p>\n<p>The UK\u2019s 2025 Food Fashion Report<\/p>\n<p>So, what does the 2025 food \u2018fashion report\u2019 look like? While Edinburgh championed the bao, the top spot nationally went to <strong>The Classic<\/strong> bagel from Papo\u2019s Bagels, a family-run business in London. It seems the UK is in the grip of a \u2018bagel boom\u2019, with the classic format seeing a massive resurgence.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond bagels, the list reveals a nation obsessed with specific, viral items. The top 10 also included:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Manchester<\/strong> was crowned the UK\u2019s sourdough capital, with <strong>Jason\u2019s Sourdough Bread<\/strong> from Morrisons ranking fourth.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Glasgow<\/strong> also made the list at number ten with the <strong>Diavola (Posh Pepperoni!)<\/strong> from Sano Pizza.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Matcha<\/strong>-mania, a trend largely driven by TikTok, saw the <strong>Matcha Iced Latte<\/strong> from London\u2019s JENKI place seventh.<\/li>\n<li>The rest of the top ten was rounded out by smash burgers, chicken tenders, and even a pint of <strong>Blueberries<\/strong> from a Co-op in London.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Beyond the Takeaway: Fans and Seamoss<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps most revealing are the trends beyond the dinner plate. The report highlighted a surge in non-food items as delivery apps expand into general retail.<\/p>\n<p>During this summer\u2019s intense heatwave, <strong>electrical fans<\/strong> from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wilko.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wilko<\/a> became one of the fastest-rising items.
