SWFC are destined for League One after administration<\/a> brought a 12-point deduction<\/a>. They could yet be handed more deductions, but many feel it is a price worth paying to be rid of the Thai businessman\u2019s ownership.<\/p>\n

Henrik Pedersen is having to worth with a seriously depleted squad. Numerous summer departures and injury issues have left the Owls\u2019 squad dangerously limited, and a registration embargo has left them with next to nothing to worth with.<\/p>\n

However, amid reports of talks between Sheffield Wednesday and the Football League<\/a> over the possibility of free transfer signings, we put forward three available players the club should look at\u2026<\/p>\n

Elliott Moore<\/p>\n

Oxford United<\/a> confirmed the departure of club captain Elliott Moore at the end of the summer transfer window. He played nearly 250 times for the U\u2019s over six years, but made the decision to move on.<\/p>\n

As a vastly experienced centre-back and a leader, he could be a welcome reinforcement in a very bare area of the Sheffield Wednesday<\/a> squad.<\/p>\n

Aged 28, Moore still has good years left ahead of him. If SWFC are to drop to League One as expected, see has shown he can be a star player at that level so could be a positive influence for the long-term.<\/p>\n

Joe Ralls<\/p>\n

Another former skipper who became a free agent in the summer transfer window was Joe Ralls. His lengthy spell at Cardiff City<\/a> came to an end following their relegation.<\/p>\n

Though injuries have set in more in recent campaigns, Ralls is another who could be a positive influence and a real leader as Wednesday battle against the odds. He\u2019d offer more depth in midfield, with a lot being asked of Barry Bannan in the early stages of this campaign.<\/p>\n

If fit and ready to go, Ralls could be a fine signing at Hillsborough.<\/p>\n

Malcolm Ebiowei<\/p>\n

Last but not least is a bit of a different option for Sheffield Wednesday<\/a>. Malcolm Ebiowei was touted as a top prospect at Derby County<\/a>, but he failed to kick on at Crystal Palace and lasted less than a month at Blackpool<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With the right management, the tricky 22-year-old still has big potential to tap into. He mainly operates on the right-wing but can operate in central roles too.<\/p>\n

SWFC may want more proven players who can be depended on as leaders through this crisis.
