{"id":549053,"date":"2025-11-04T19:03:19","date_gmt":"2025-11-04T19:03:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/549053\/"},"modified":"2025-11-04T19:03:19","modified_gmt":"2025-11-04T19:03:19","slug":"american-airlines-to-launch-second-edinburgh-route","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/549053\/","title":{"rendered":"American Airlines to launch second Edinburgh route"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>American Airlines is to introduce a new daily service between Edinburgh and New York\u2019s JFK Airport for summer 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The US carrier plans to use a narrow-body Airbus A321XLR aircraft on the Edinburgh-New York route, which includes economy, premium economy and Flagship Suite business class cabins.<\/p>\n<p>Brian Znotins, American Airlines\u2019 senior vice president of network and schedule planning, said: \u201cAmerican is excited to offer a second route to give travellers more access to one of their favourite destinations. This is the right aircraft to open this route and with an elevated premium experience for travellers to enjoy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>American Airlines launched a service between Edinburgh and Philadelphia in summer 2025, which will also return next summer. Both routes will operate from 8 March to 24 October 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Brian Znotins, American Airlines\u2019 senior vice president of network and schedule planning, said: \u201cAmerican is excited to offer a second route to give travellers more access to one of their favourite destinations.
