A teenage boy has been arrested and charged following an “assault” at a school in Edinburgh<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Officers were called to Gracemount High School<\/a> after the alarm was raised shortly after lunchtime on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Police<\/a> were responding to a report of an assault which allegedly took place at around 1.55pm.<\/p>\n

The exact nature of the incident is so far unclear, but a 14-year-old male youth has since been arrested and charged in connection.<\/p>\n

Detectives<\/a> say that a report will be sent to the relevant authority.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for Edinburgh City Council<\/a> confirmed that emergency services were called to the school to deal with the incident.<\/p>\n

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: \u201cAround 1.55pm on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, officers received a report of an assault in the Lasswade Road area of Edinburgh.<\/p>\n

\u201cA 14-year-old male youth has been arrested and charged in connection.<\/p>\n

\u201cA report will be sent to the relevant authority.\u201d<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for Edinburgh City Council said: \u201cEmergency services were called to the school earlier today to deal with an incident.<\/p>\n
