Removing it can lead to sunburn, overheating, and other health complications,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Ms McHaffie said shaving a Newfoundland for any other reason is &#8220;not advisable&#8221; as it &#8220;compromises their natural protection and wellbeing.
