Cops<\/a> are appealing for information after a plush BMW car was firebombed on a Glasgow street last night.<\/p>\n Emergency services were called out to Dixon Avenue in the Govanhill<\/a> area of the city at around 11.55pm on Saturday evening, April 26.<\/p>\n A BMW<\/a> had been set ablaze as horrified locals watched on. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene and extinguished the flames. The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service <\/a>and there were no reports of any injuries.<\/p>\n Detective<\/a> Sergeant Paul McKenna added: \u201cWe are following a positive line of enquiry, and our enquiries are ongoing. I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has any information which could assist to contact us.<\/p>\n “We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and who has private CCTV<\/a> or dash-cam footage to get in touch.\u201d Anyone with information<\/a> is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 0052 of 27 April.
