\n The Channel 4 show is now entering its 26th series, with previous episodes seeing everything from\u00a0giant curved glass homes to mansions\u00a0built out of clay and\u00a0former water towers.\n<\/p>\n
\n Now, more keen builders are ready to take on the task, as\u00a0Kevin travels around the UK to see the new builds in\u00a0Grand Designs.\n<\/p>\n
\n The first episode of the new series saw artist Sarah with a radical super-sustainable home that combined living quarters with a studio and an art gallery.\n<\/p>\n
\n<\/blockquote>\n\n Sarah was followed by couple Pete and Aey, who constructed a factory-built house in rural West Sussex.\n<\/p>\n
\n Marcus and Abi followed the pair with a “luxurious off-grid family home” in Pembrokeshire.\n<\/p>\n
\n Kevin then met Pep and Malene, who built a modern Viking hall in the Surrey Hills.\n<\/p>\n
\n Last week saw Piers and Emma build the UK’s first castle in 100 years with their own modern take on the structure.\n<\/p>\n
\n This week, Kevin revisits Stuart and Rosie from the Wirral, who in 2016 began building their ultra-modern dream home.\n<\/p>\n

\n In 2016, Kevin first visited Stuart and Rosie in the Wirral when they set out to transform a small bungalow from a 1960s dormer into a 21st-century architectural design.\n<\/p>\n
\n The plan saw the pair decapitate the building and balance a new floating timber box on top to create five bedrooms.\n<\/p>\n

\n Hoping to spend as little as possible on plumping, electrics and insulation, money fears quickly began to grow.\n<\/p>\n
