A number of schools two Welsh counties are closed on Wednesday, November 5, due to severe flooding overnight. Parts of Carmarthenshire<\/a> and Pembrokeshire<\/a> have been hit badly after heavy downpours on Tuesday, with properties and roads flooded.<\/p>\n The fire service said it had to rescue drivers who became trapped in their cars on Tuesday evening. Stay informed on Carms news by signing up to our newsletter here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n The council’s website states that the decision has been made to close six schools due to “health and safety” and “school<\/a> transport” issues caused by flooding.<\/p>\n The schools which have been closed are:<\/p>\n In Pembrokeshire, St Aidans Church in Wales VA School has been closed.<\/p>\n A post from Bro Dinefwr said: “Due to adverse weather<\/a> conditions and the dangerous nature of some roads.
