A man hit by a car has tragically died from his injuries more than two weeks on from the collision<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The pedestrian, aged in his 50s, was struck by a vehicle on Moorside Road in Swinton<\/a>, Salford<\/a>, on Sunday, October 19.<\/p>\n

Emergency services attended the scene at 7.15pm that evening, with paramedics rushing the man to hospital.<\/p>\n

He remained in a critical condition following the crash, but sadly died yesterday (November 4).<\/p>\n

An investigation into the circumstances of the collision remains ongoing.<\/p>\n

Greater Manchester Police<\/a> is renewing its appeal for further information, or any relevant video footage that could help with officers’ enquiries.<\/p>\n

A GMP spokesperson said: “At around 7.15pm on Sunday, October 19 2025, we were called to reports of a serious road traffic collision between a car and a pedestrian on Moorside Road, Swinton<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Emergency services attended and a man in his 50s was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries. He has sadly since passed away.<\/p>\n
