A man has been arrested after two homes were broken into on the same street in Wallasey<\/a> last month. On Sunday, October 19, Merseyside Police<\/a> were called to reports that two homes on Victoria Road had been broken into <\/a>and the front doors of the properties had been damaged.<\/p>\n Following enquires a 27-year-old man from Birkenhead<\/a> was arrested on Tuesday, November 4, on suspicion of two counts of burglary. He remains in police custody. Detective Inspector <\/a>Kevin O’Rourke, who heads the Burglary Team (Operation Castle) at Merseyside Police<\/a>, said: \u201cI hope this arrest shows how seriously we take all reports of burglary<\/a> in our communities.<\/p>\n \u201cFollowing a thorough investigation, we have now arrested a man in connection with these two incidents and he will be questioned.
