Maynard James Keenan, the Tool<\/a> singer, has expressed concerns about Black Sabbath\u2019s final concert, stating it may have to take \u201cmodern miracles\u201d to pull the thing off, given Ozzy Osbourne\u2019s health.<\/p>\n On February 5th, Black Sabbath announced<\/a> a spectacular line-up for their final performance before Osbourne retires from performing. Osbourne, Geezer Butler, Bill Ward and Tony Iommi will perform together as a four-piece for the first time in 20 years with support from Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Halestorm, Alice In Chains, Lamb Of God, Anthrax, Tool and Mastodon.<\/p>\n The star-studded event sold out in less than ten minutes. It will take place in Birmingham on July 5th.<\/p>\n Since the announcement, Osbourne revealed that he was \u201cin heavy training\u201d for the concert after several health issues had set him back. He also seems already to be distancing the magnitude of his abilities from the show, as he told fans he would only be \u201cdoing little bits and pieces\u201d at the event.<\/p>\n However, the Tool singer<\/a> has spoken on Loudwire Nights to air his scepticism and Osbourne\u2019s ability to wow fans. He was not filled with confidence when he saw the Black Sabbath frontman at his induction at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2024.<\/p>\n He told the host: \u201cI think for me, seeing Ozzy moving around at [the Rock Hall ceremony], the idea of him playing a show at all, if we\u2019re being honest, the conversation about going to do the song was like, \u2018We\u2019ll have this conversation, but, ahh\u2026 I don\u2019t know that this [concert] gonna happen,\u2019\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n He continued: \u201cAnd even now, I\u2019m cautious about saying, \u2018Yeah! All in, he\u2019s gonna do it.\u2019 Because man, I don\u2019t know what kind of modern miracles we\u2019ll come up with to get him on stage to do the songs, but this is gonna be a challenge for them.\u201d<\/p>\n He finished by re-instating his privilege at being involved in the event: \u201cSo, I\u2019m honoured to be a part of it, but I\u2019m kinda preparing for the worst \u2013 but hoping for the best, as they say.\u201d<\/p>\n The Black Sabbath singer is reportedly unable to walk because of Parkinson\u2019s disease, so a wheelchair may be used in the show. Despite this ailment, his wife Sharon Osbourne <\/a>has assured concerned parties that this \u201cdoesn\u2019t affect his voice\u201d.<\/p>\n
