Liverpool are having a bit of a wobble as we head into the final weeks of the season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Liverpool<\/a> are still in great shape to win the Premier League from here, but in recent weeks, the Reds haven\u2019t been great.<\/p>\n

Liverpool lost to both PSG and Newcastle in the Champions League and the FA Cup, while they relied on a controversial goal<\/a> to get past Everton in midweek.<\/p>\n

On top of that, Liverpool lost to Fulham at the weekend, and questions are starting to be raised about this run of form.<\/p>\n

Mohamed Salah has been criticised as of late<\/a>, and on BBC 606, one caller suggested that Salah isn\u2019t playing as intensely as he wants to avoid an injury.<\/p>\n

However, Chris Sutton quickly rebuffed this suggestion, claiming that it\u2019s ridiculous to suggest that Salah is holding himself back.<\/p>\n

Sutton reacted after it was suggested that Salah is holding back in order to avoid injury.<\/p>\n

Salah has been linked with a move away<\/a> from Liverpool as his contract winds down, but Sutton can\u2019t buy into the idea that the Egyptian is giving any less than 100%.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really hoping that Liverpool stay clear of him. But I also think Salah wasn\u2019t playing because I think he doesn\u2019t want to get injured and he might be looking at moving away and doesn\u2019t want to get injured before,\u201d The caller said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s ridiculous. So you think Mo Salah is holding it back because he\u2019s got to move on the horizon?\u201d Sutton said.<\/p>\n

The idea that Salah is purposefully slowing down in order to avoid injury is quite the conspiracy theory, but it probably doesn\u2019t have any truth to it.<\/p>\n

However, it has to be said that Salah\u2019s form has dipped.<\/p>\n

Salah isn\u2019t getting as many shots away as he usually does, and he now hasn\u2019t scored a goal from open play since February.<\/p>\n
