{"id":551711,"date":"2025-11-05T23:36:14","date_gmt":"2025-11-05T23:36:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/551711\/"},"modified":"2025-11-05T23:36:14","modified_gmt":"2025-11-05T23:36:14","slug":"leeds-united-premier-league-request-is-in-motion-and-it-could-annoy-sunderland","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/551711\/","title":{"rendered":"Leeds United Premier League request is in motion and it could annoy Sunderland"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>There has already been some change for Leeds in recent days.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leedsunited.news\/news\/leeds-united-now-have-to-do-something-no-side-has-in-53-years-and-itll-annoy-daniel-farke\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Premier League have moved Liverpool vs Leeds<\/a> and Leeds vs Manchester United at the request of broadcasters, making the Whites the first club in Premier League history to begin a calendar year with clashes against the two sides.<\/p>\n<p>Oliver Glasner has now revealed he has asked the Premier League to rearrange <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leedsunited.news\/club\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Leeds<\/a> vs Crystal Palace as well \u2013 a request which could irk Sunderland if it gets approved.<\/p>\n<p>Rearrangement would give Leeds an extra day to prepare for Sunderland clash<\/p>\n<p>The Crystal Palace boss wants the fixture to be moved from Sunday 21st December to Saturday 20th December, with his side currently facing a spell of three games in five days due to Carabao Cup and UEFA Conference League commitments. <\/p>\n<p>Glasner said: \u201cLet\u2019s see (what happens). We didn\u2019t get a response until now from the Premier League, so just to have the same situation (as) Arsenal if their game is moved. They will learn from it and I\u2019m pretty sure that next year they will have the solution before the start of the season.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Glasner: &#8220;Let&#8217;s see, we didn&#8217;t get a response until now from the Premier League, so just to have the same situation than Arsenal if their game is moved.
