Specifically because of one simple word Harry used: &#8220;currently.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"3\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Direct quote: <\/p>\n<blockquote data-node-id=\"4\" class=\"body-blockquote css-rq4zt5 emevuu60\"><p>&#8220;Though currently, I may live in the United States, Britain is, and always will be, the country I proudly served and fought for. The banter of the mess, the clubhouse, the pub, the stands ridiculous as it sounds, these are the things that make us British. I make no apology for it. I love it.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"5\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Apparently the Palace thinks Harry&#8217;s use of &#8220;currently&#8221; is setting the stage for a return to the United Kingdom, and Rob Shutter&#8217;s #<a href=\"https:\/\/robshuter.substack.com\/p\/exclusive-prince-harry-drops-bombshell?open=false#%C2%A7exclusive-prince-harrys-word-choice-sparks-return-to-uk-panic\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/robshuter.substack.com\/p\/exclusive-prince-harry-drops-bombshell?open=false#%C2%A7exclusive-prince-harrys-word-choice-sparks-return-to-uk-panic\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"ShutterScoop\" data-node-id=\"5.2.0\" class=\"body-link css-103hk4r emevuu60\" rel=\"noopener\">ShutterScoop<\/a> says it has &#8220;royal aides sweating.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"8\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">&#8220;He could\u2019ve said &#8216;I live in America,'&#8221; says a former courtiers. &#8220;&#8216;Currently&#8217; implies the situation is temporary.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"9\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Meanwhile, Harry recently revealed on <a href=\"https:\/\/lemonada.lnk.to\/HasanMinhajDoesntKnowPR\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"externalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/lemonada.lnk.to\/HasanMinhajDoesntKnowPR\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"Hasan Minhaj Doesn&#039;t Know\" data-node-id=\"9.1.0\" class=\"body-link css-103hk4r emevuu60\" target=\"_blank\">Hasan Minhaj Doesn&#8217;t Know<\/a> podcast that he has no plans to pursue U.S. citizenship, saying &#8220;Am I going to become a U.S. citizen? There are no plans to be, at this point.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"10\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">#ShuterScoop also notes that Harry is well aware of rumors that his brother, Prince William, will strip non-working royals of their titles once he becomes king. Per a senior insider, &#8220;Harry sees which way the wind is blowing.
