They were sold in 90-count, 500-count, and 1,000-count bottles with expiration dates as late as February 2027.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"TQTFOR6FWNGBXMLJWNYALICS24\">Ascend Laboratories, LLC initiated the recall due to failed dissolution specifications, which means the drugs may not dissolve properly in the body once it\u2019s swallowed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"RSQ2DS7DXFBWNE3AIAVQGK5VTE\">The bottles of medication were distributed nationwide.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"7AOVXS5BN5E53CXFZJ7YWPXKCQ\">The recall was initiated on Sept. 19, and was classified to a Class II risk level on Oct. 10.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"KFSORHEXNFH6NKRAK4WYI77OHQ\">A Class II recall is a situation in which use of, or exposure to, a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"5ZH44V2FZVASVJZAI573HSKMCA\">The recall remains ongoing, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration report.<\/p>\n<p>If you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.
