Speaking on France Info radio, he said: \u201cI believe the European Commission must take action. It cannot wait any longer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>France has already taken steps to block Shein\u2019s website in the country to review and strengthen oversight of third-party sellers, and the company has globally ceased selling the controversial dolls.<\/p>\n<p>In a letter to Hanna F\u00e4rk\u00f6nen, head of the EU\u2019s technology department, French Finance Minister Roland Lescure and Digital Affairs Minister Agn\u00e8s Pannier-Runacher highlighted the serious breaches within France and warned that similar risks may exist across the EU.<\/p>\n<p>The letter urged the Commission to investigate immediately to determine how illegal items were sold through the platform.
