<\/p>\nWith Celebrity Race Across The World back on screens tonight, one of its star couples has revealed exactly how much “help” the contestants got from producers while filming it. Presenter Tyler West and EastEnders’ Molly Rainford, who are engaged, can be seen competing together on the hit series, and they admitted they were expecting much more assistance than they got. <\/p>\n
In the end, it seems there was precisely zero. “We’re massive fans of the show ever since the first episode, right?” Tyler said on Lorraine. <\/p>\n
“But when you watch it, you think ‘oh they must get some help’, or, ‘there must be something’.<\/p>\n

“I genuinely was that idiot that was there, and I was talking with Molly and I was looking at the camera and I was like, ‘they’re gonna help in a minute, babe, don’t worry about this’.”<\/p>\n
But he confirmed: “There was no help whatsoever.”<\/p>\n

Related: Celebrity Race Across the World line-up revealed for 2025<\/a><\/strong> <\/p>\n Molly \u2013 who is exiting her soap role as Albert Square’s Anna Knight<\/a> \u2013 added: “I think that’s why it made doing the race so rewarding, because it’s all on you to get that journey right.”<\/p>\n The pair also joked that it helped cement the fact that they want to spend the rest of their lives together. “I bought the [engagement] ring four months into us getting together; I knew for a fact that she’s my person,” Tyler said.<\/p>\n “But then, I think there was times along our journey of Race Across The World when I was like ‘I can’t get with anyone else cause you’ve seen me in some diabolical situations!'”<\/p>\n “Me especially,” Molly said. “Some of the stomach issues and that good fun… You’ve seen me at my worst!”<\/p>\n “I’ve smelt her at her worst,” Tyler quipped.<\/p>\n BBC<\/p>\n Related: Best film and TV tours for 2025<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Other couples competing on the show this time include Anita Rani and her dad Bal, Big Boys star Dylan Llewellyn and his mum Jackie, and presenter Roman Kemp with his sister, the singer-songwriter Harleymoon.<\/p>\n The route will take the competitors from Isla Mujeres in Mexico to Pen\u00ednsula de La Guajira in Colombia.<\/p>\n Kemp has described the route as “scary”, telling Tom Grennan on the You About?<\/a> podcast: “I really thought I’m a Celeb was hard. It really is, it’s no joke. This show is so beyond hard.”<\/p>\n Echoing West’s comments about the stars being left to fend for themselves, he continued: “When I say you are on your own, figuring stuff out \u2013 no phone, little bit of money… It’s crazy. And where we went, which I can’t say yet, wow.
