A detective constable is accused of being under the influence of cocaine while on shift. Merseyside Police<\/a> officer DC McVey is set to go before an accelerated misconduct hearing chaired by Chief Constable Rob Carden<\/a> on November 13.<\/p>\n It is alleged the officer breached the Police Standards of Professional Behaviour on July 31 this year by attending work with cocaine – over 1000 ng\/ml Benzoylecgonine – in his system.
