More rain is on its way with the Met Office forecasting that some parts of Wales will see downpours of up to 32mm an hour.More wet weather is on its way(Image: Met Office)<\/p>\n

After heavy and extensive rainfall caused serious flooding across west Wales <\/a>another ‘rain bomb’ is about to completely cover Wales. Although there has been a slight let-up in conditions over recent days, things are set to get a lot worse once again according to the Met Office<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Weather maps show unsettled weather<\/a> over the next five days, with further heavy rainfall on Friday, Sunday and Monday. Saturday looks to be the driest day before Wales is set for a deluge on Tuesday, November 11.<\/p>\n

The long-range Met Office forecast, which starts on Tuesday, states: “The start of this period is likely to be largely unsettled and mostly mild, with bands or areas of rain moving across most parts of the UK, although tending to be focused more on western and possibly southern parts.<\/p>\n

” Locally strong winds may also accompany the rain at times.”<\/p>\n

Heavy rain on Friday afternoon could disrupt the clean-up currently underway in parts of west Wales that were hit by flooding earlier this week.<\/p>\n

It will be a largely dry day on Saturday.<\/p>\n

A band of rain will move across Wales early on Sunday warning. Heavy rainfall is also forecast that evening.<\/p>\n

Monday will remain dry until early afternoon when more heavy rainfall will hit the country.<\/p>\n

The deluge of rain set to hit Wales on Tuesday will move northwards overnight. By 6am, much of the country will see heavy rainfall.<\/p>\n

The rain will gradually worsen throughout the day.<\/p>\n

Up to 16mm of rain could fall per hour widely across Wales.<\/p>\n

The north will see the worst of the rain later in the day.<\/p>\n

By 9pm, the ‘rain bomb’ will be covering the whole of the country.<\/p>\n
