A Liverpool train station was cordoned off this evening after a person was hit by a train. Emergency services were called to Broad Green railway station, on Bowring Park Road, at around 7.15pm on Friday, November 7, following reports of an incident.<\/a><\/p>\n All lines between Liverpool Lime Street and St Helens<\/a> Central were closed as police and rescue teams responded at the scene. A large emergency services presence was reported at the station, with Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service (MFRS), British Transport Police, and paramedics attending.<\/p>\n The station was cordoned off by police<\/a> while the incident was dealt with.<\/p>\n Traffic alert site Inrix reported the M62 eastbound lane was closed on the exit slip road due to the incident at A5080 Bowring Park Road (The Rocket).<\/p>\n A spokesperson for MFRS said: “Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service attended an incident at Broadgreen Railway Station on Bowring Park Road earlier this evening.<\/p>\n “Crews were alerted at 19.15 following reports of a person being hit by a train.
