Leeds United<\/a> face a Nottingham Forest side this Sunday that are juggling various injury and fitness issues under Sean Dyche.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Daniel Farke has had issues of his own to iron out this week after defeat at Brighton. But, Sean Dyche finds himself needing a turnaround sooner rather than later at Nottingham Forest<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Reds are in the bottom three as things stand, on their third manager of the season after a turbulent start to the campaign.<\/p>\n

Sean Dyche makes fitness admission about Nottingham Forest after Europa League stalemate<\/p>\n

Lineup announcements in the Europa League last night gave a pretty clear indication of where Forest\u2019s priorities lay. Despite having one win in three on the continent, Dyche named seven changes to his side against Sturm Graz<\/a>, as Elliot Anderson and other key starts dropped out.<\/p>\n

It underlined the importance of Sunday\u2019s game against Leeds for the City Ground club, and Dyche spoke after their 0-0 draw with the Austrian side about the shape of his squad at the moment.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re frustrated we didn\u2019t win the game. We dominated the first half, but we\u2019ve got to score some of those chances, which we didn\u2019t do,\u201d Dyche told Forest\u2019s official site<\/a>. \u201cWe ran out of steam a little bit in the second half, which we expected because we\u2019re a bit threadbare and some of the players haven\u2019t played a lot of football.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve got to keep working on that and the fitness levels. There certainly wasn\u2019t a lack of effort \u2013 it\u2019s the fitness that has to improve, and they\u2019ve locked that in tonight. We have a threadbare squad that has put in a shift and delivered a performance that has at least got us a point.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Dyche has clearly taken on a tough gig at Forest, tasked with lifting a side devoid of confidence after two manager departures.<\/p>\n

His comments here suggest that his squad is still a clear work in progress. He wants his side to be as fit as possible to perform consistently for 90 minutes.<\/p>\n

Their injury dilemmas mean he\u2019s having to name quite a threadbare squad<\/a>. But, full 90s for Neco Williams, Nikola Milenkovic, Ryan Yates, Ibrahim Sangare and Nicolas Dominguez aren\u2019t helpful for their performance on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Add to that James McAtee and Arnaud Kalimuendo being forced off, and Forest all of a sudden have a vulnerable side for Leeds to get at this weekend.<\/p>\n
