A pedestrian has reportedly been “hit by a tram” in Edinburgh<\/a>, prompting a huge emergency response.<\/p>\n The alarm was raised at around 1.30pm on Friday, November 7 when emergency services including police, fire crews, and paramedics raced to Constitution Street following reports of someone having been struck by the vehicle<\/a>.<\/p>\n The BBC said the individual was hit by the vehicle, with EdinburghLive<\/a> adding unconfirmed local reports suggested they were ‘trapped’ near the stop at The Shore.<\/p>\n Police Scotland confirmed a 66-year-old man was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh following the incident.
