Liverpool <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/whats-on\/food-drink-news\/much-loved-restaurants-secret-recipe-29327151\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">fried chicken business Pattersons<\/a> has now started a new concept that the team hopes to take all over the UK if it thrives in the city.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">The company was founded in 2015, with the first site occupying the old electrical store, Hastie and Patterson, on Gradwell Street, which has operated there for nearly four decades. Fast forward to today, and <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/whats-on\/food-drink-news\/much-loved-restaurants-secret-recipe-29327151\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Patterson&#8217;s<\/a> currently owns three more locations in Blackstock Market, Manchester\u2019s Freight Island and<a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/warrington\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\"> Warrington<\/a>\u2019s Market Hall.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">The business has also recently secured a place at Stack Newcastle which will open this autumn in the city\u2019s Worswick Chambers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">However, much closer to home, the brand is experimenting with Pattersons&#8217; Roast House. Everyone loves a roast dinner and we thought it aligned really well with the Patterson&#8217;s brand.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">\u201cWe wanted to try it in our restaurant first, but then we decided to do it in Blackstone Market; it seemed like the perfect fit for it. There\u2019s a bit of a gap in the market there, there isn\u2019t anyone doing anything similar there, and so we took the chance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">Over the last few weeks, Declan explained that the team has been \u201ctweaking\u201d the recipes, with them finally \u201cnailing it on the head\u201d. One half is fried chicken, and the other is Patterson\u2019s Roast House, our new sister site.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">\u201cIt\u2019s the same team, the same branding, but something new. We had the Belly Buster tray, a \u00a350 Sunday dinner tray for sharing, only on Sundays, but we\u2019ve changed it now because of the demand on social media. The whole menu is available from Wednesday to Sunday now.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">&#8220;We did a content day a few weeks ago and we were absolutely made up with the products and to see people feel the same, its so heartwarming. It shows the hard work has been worth it, it almost was a sense of relief to see the reaction.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">Declan said that the Pattersons&#8217; team are determined to make the sister site a brand \u201cin its own right\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">He said: \u201cBlackstock is the testing ground for it but we are looking to expand elsewhere.
