The Craic House will be <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/county-road \" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">County Road<\/a>\u2019s first <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/liverpool-pubs \" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Irish bar<\/a> when it opens later this month, according to its owners.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">The <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/whats-on\/\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">venue <\/a>is set to open November 28 in the former JT\u2019s Bar on County Road. The<a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/everton-fc \" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\"> Everton <\/a>bar closed following the club\u2019s move to the Hill Dickinson at Bramley Moore Dock. Jordan Daly, 35, is preparing to open the bar at the end of this month.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">He said: \u201cThere\u2019s nothing like this around here. It\u2019ll be County Road\u2019s first Irish bar.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">\u201cCounty Road is renowned for its pubs, but there\u2019s nothing like this. It\u2019ll be good for the community that people don\u2019t have to go into town to get to an Irish pub.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">The owners say the venue will host live music every week with a live Irish singer. County Road has seen a steep drop in footfall since Everton\u2019s move to the docks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">Jordan said: \u201cPeople are moving further into the city centre to drink on matchdays.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">Jordan described the venue as a \u201clittle piece of Ranelagh Street on County Road\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">The Craic House is currently undergoing extensive renovations and is due to open on November 28.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">The <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/news\/liverpool-news\/nightmare-liverpool-road-drivers-flout-32817703\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">ECHO recently visited County Road, where residents complained the area is &#8220;dying a death&#8221;<\/a>. Kate Moore works at Mike\u2019s Kitchen on County Road.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">She said: \u201cI live here, and <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/news\/news-opinion\/liverpool-overrun-rats-bins-you-32634374\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"you see rats in the stuff left all aroundLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">you see rats in the stuff left all around<\/a> the communal bins; baths, sinks, beds\u201d she said, adding \u201cthe street cleaners do a brilliant job.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">She added: \u201cWith the football going away, the whole place is dying a death. Just look at all the empty shops, and the pubs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">\u201cUnless you come down for something specifically, why would you come to County Road? Everyone looks unhappy and malnourished.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">\u201cWe need an <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/asda\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Asda<\/a> and some more accessible shops for the old people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">Fatih Kahraman, 41, also of Mike\u2019s Kitchen, said: \u201cSomething has to be done.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">&#8220;Too many businesses are closing. A lot of businesses closed when the football went, and it\u2019s like a domino effect.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\"><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Do you have a story?
