Rising Leeds United star Harry Gray sent a timely reminder to head coach Daniel Farke as the Whites sweat over the fitness of Dominic Calvert-Lewin. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Leeds United<\/a> could be without key centre forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin<\/a> as they look to break a poor run of recent form in their trip to Nottingham Forest.<\/p>\n

Gjanni Alioski scored the decisive goal<\/a> in Leeds\u2019 most recent win at the City Ground, which came eight years ago at the beginning of the 2017\/18 season. <\/p>\n

Daniel Farke<\/a> could face the daunting prospect of ending Leeds\u2019 barren run in the East Midlands without his number nine, as Calvert-Lewin races to be fit for the game<\/a>. <\/p>\n

However, rising star Harry Gray<\/a> sent a timely reminder of his availability to Farke as he got back on the scoresheet for the Leeds academy. <\/p>\n

Gray made his return from injury<\/a> for the Leeds academy as they faced Brighton, and he was named in the side again for the game against Nottingham Forest<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Although the Academy side slipped to a 2-1 defeat, Gray was a lively presence in attack, carving out several chances, particularly in the first half. <\/p>\n

Gray got his reward for another good display as he scored Leeds\u2019 only goal of the game, converting a first-half penalty to pull his side level at 1-1. <\/p>\n

The young forward was then substituted after 70 minutes, which could hint that he is in Farke\u2019s plans for the weekend, having played the full 90 minutes against Brighton. <\/p>\n

Gray joined an exclusive club<\/a> with Leeds earlier this season, as he was included in a Premier League<\/a> matchday squad before his 17th birthday. <\/p>\n

Now, he is hoping to be included in Farke\u2019s squad for the second time this season, as Leeds take on Nottingham Forest in a crucial game<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Calvert-Lewin was nowhere to be seen in the inside training video that the club shared on their official social media channels, although the Leeds forward shared images<\/a> of him joining training on his personal Instagram page. <\/p>\n
