Diakonenkova of Drexel University as the winner of the 2025 Supima Design Competition.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"news-image\" style=\"width:100%;max-width:757px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/d440.jpg\" alt=\"Drexel\u2019s Varvara (Bobby) Diakonenkova wins 2025 Supima Design Competition.\" loading=\"lazy\"\/>Drexel\u2019s Varvara (Bobby) Diakonenkova wins 2025 Supima Design Competition. &#8211; Getty Images for Supima<\/p>\n<p class=\"col-md-8 offset-md-1 article-content--texte\">This year marked a new era for Supima as it united its annual Supima Design Competition and Supima Design Lab into one evening on November 5 at Lavan Studios in New York City, hosted by photographer and fashion icon, Nigel Barker.<\/p>\n<p>The event featured presentation-style showcases from the 2025 Supima Design Competition finalists, Festival d\u2019Hy\u00e8res finalists, and leading international designers, all of whom crafted collections using Supima\u2019s American-grown Pima cotton.<\/p>\n<p class=\"col-md-8 offset-md-1 article-content--texte\">The night culminated with Diakonenkova\u2019s win, recognizing her eveningwear capsule collection for its craftsmanship, originality, and forward-thinking interpretation of Supima cotton.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Finalists in this year\u2019s competition included Caroline Hill of Kent State University; Emma Gonzalez Pini of <a class=\"fnwAddLinks\" href=\"https:\/\/uk.fashionnetwork.com\/tags-parsons\" title=\"Parsons\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Parsons<\/a> School of Design; Griselda Pe\u00f1a Candelario of Pratt Institute;
