Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes were spotted getting close during their trip to Scotland just one month after their breakup<\/a>. <\/p>\n

A source reported the pair \u201cwere very much loved-up and holding hands\u201d while out at Cannonball Restaurant & Bar near Scotland\u2019s Edinburgh Castle recently, according to Us Weekly<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The insider added that Ballerini, 32, and Stokes, 33, \u201cseemed like the sweetest people.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was very nice. We had a wee chat about how he was having a holiday in Scotland before going to Croatia to film the final season of \u2018Outer Banks,\u2019\u201c the source explained to the outlet of Stokes, who took photos with some fans during the getaway.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey both seemed really happy and smiley,\u201d they continued. <\/p>\n

The two stars were later seen together once again in Dubrovnik, Croatia, on Friday. <\/p>\n

Reps for Ballerini and Stokes did not immediately respond to Page Six\u2019s request for comment. <\/p>\n

Stokes and Ballerini called it quits on their relationship after two years of dating in September. <\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re two adults who gave it their all and tried to do everything they could to make it work, but ultimately couldn\u2019t,\u201d sources close to the couple told People at the time. \u201cIt happens.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a hard split,\u201d another source told Us Weekly<\/a>. \u201cThey had been arguing a lot recently, and their communication wasn\u2019t great in the last month. They were both traveling so much and trying to juggle everything, and the arguments piled up.\u201d<\/p>\n

The split came just two days after Stokes wished Ballerini a happy 32nd birthday on Instagram.<\/p>\n
