A man has been charged with the alleged murder of a 48-year-old woman found dead in Cefn Cribwr, said South Wales Police. Police were called just after 9.15pm on Friday, April 18, to a report of concern for the welfare of two people in a property on Bryn Terrace, a street in the village just outside Bridgend.<\/p>\n
Police said when officers arrived at the property they discovered the body of Tracey Davies (formerly Young). She was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
Police said Michael Davies, 55, from Cefn Cribwr, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of Tracey\u2019s murder.<\/p>\n
On Sunday, April 27, he was charged with murder, and will appear at Cardiff<\/a> Magistrates Court on Monday April 28.<\/p>\n Police said the victim’s next of kin has been informed.
